"Blues4U" started by Mathias Andersén and Stefan Lindell as a spin-off from the Swedish blues band, "Little Wolter & The Blues Machine" (Winners of SBC on Moensteras Blues festival in 2004). "Blues4U" took off in autumn -06 playing 50-60´s styles of Chicago/Louisiana/Texas blues. On lead vocals and harmonica we find Mathias Andersén. On the upright bass we find Stefan Lindell and on guitar is the excellent player Thomas Hammarlund who also is found in the swedish blues band "Blue Hammer", and on the drums is Michael Johansson. Together they give the band a rough, Chicago/Louisiana 50`s vintage sound. The piano sometime features Fredrik von Werder. All musicians above are all excellent players who bring there own unique sound in to the band "Blues4U". |
